Outer thread is a blend of desi cotton and organic cotton from Uganda. Desi cotton creates a unique wool-like dry touch. Desi cotton has a fiber structure very similar to Aspero cotton, which is the raw material for Purcara, but because the length of the fibers is short, it cannot be made into yarn by itself. Therefore, we decided to blend organic materials with long fibers to make yarn. We decided to mix it with organic cotton produced in Uganda, as it was considered to be compatible with desi cotton. Since it is based on hand-harvested raw cotton, there is a problem with foreign threads being mixed in during the spinning process, but this is the combination that produces the bulkiest, wool-like texture.
Another feature is that the lining is made from Zimbabwean brown cotton.
Compared to Purcara sweat, Ugandan organic cotton is of higher quality and whiter, and the oatmeal and heather gray shades are slightly different and have a slightly softer feel, but the finish is almost equal to Purcara sweat.
*"Purcara Sweat" is a product that was produced until 2023.
