This time, we'll be looking at shoelaces, which can affect the impression of your shoes. Vincent Shoelace was started by a duo from Kyoto who thought, "It would be nice if there were shoelaces like these." With an emphasis on quality, everything from materials to finishing is made in Japan.
This item goes perfectly with UES denim and socks.
Five types of shoelaces with stories.
H.COOPER
This is the H.COOPER model, which can be said to be the face of Vincent Shoelaces.
The colors are heather gray and oatmeal, a mix of ivory and gray.
The two-tone color scheme is familiar from UES and I think it will go well with any sneakers.
The model name is said to be the first marathon runner to wear New Balance shoes.
It is said to come from Kenneth H. Cooper.

ALVY MAX
The shape is slim and stretchy.
The shoes are available in three colors: black, navy, and warm gray. The warm gray color is a mid-tone between off-white and gray, and matches well with running shoes.
The name is said to be inspired by Alvy, the main character in the film Annie Hall, starring Woody Allen.

TRAVIS
Travis is a herringbone lace. When you combine this herringbone lace with a simple old school sneaker, it gives an indescribable depth. Another feature is that the more you use it, the more it develops its own character.
The model's name comes from the name of the main character in the movie Taxi Driver, starring the famous actor Robert De Niro.

PEE-WEE
This model was reconstructed by sampling shoelaces made in the USA by PRO KEDS in the 80s. The original was made of 100% acrylic, but we replaced the acrylic with 100% cotton and reconstructed it as MADE IN JAPAN.
The name is said to be inspired by Pee-wee Herman, the super American comedian from the 90s.

SANDY
Like the PEE-WEE model, this model was reconstructed in Japan by sampling shoelaces made in the USA by PRO KEDS in the 80s, replacing the acrylic material of the time with cotton. Compared to acrylic, cotton has an aura of elegance unique to natural materials. The difference is clear when you touch it.
SANDY goes very well with high-tech running sneakers, but surprisingly it also matches very well with work shoes like Red Wing's Irish Setter.
