This purchasing guide will explain everything from how to search for products to ordering and payment.

Our physical store, UES Osaka, specializes in in-store sales. If you have any questions or concerns about our online store, please contact us using the inquiry form .
- The UES Online Shop shares product inventory with the stores. In some cases, items may be out of stock. Thank you for your understanding.
- Although we take great care to reproduce the colors of the photographs, they may appear slightly different depending on the lighting conditions.
- Please note that we may refuse orders from customers who have previously refused to receive products.
How to order
★Membership registration is available at the UES official online store. If you register as a member, you can use the point system. It also saves you the trouble of entering the necessary information each time you shop. Please register with us if you like.
a) Order flow and method
1. Find your favorite items. Check the category to find the item you're looking for.
2. Select the size and quantity of the item you want to purchase and add it to your cart.
*Please note that the color of the actual product may differ slightly from the image depending on the lighting conditions and the image.
*Please select your size according to the size guide.
*Orders are only accepted via the cart system on the UES official online shop. (We do not accept orders by e-mail, etc.)
3. If you would like to check your order while shopping or to proceed to payment, please click on the cart icon in the upper right corner of the screen. You can cancel or change the quantity.
4.Once you have finished all your shopping, please press the "Checkout" button.
Please enter your delivery address, payment method, and other necessary information.
If you are a registered member of our online store, please log in before purchasing. The delivery address is automatically entered.
Non-members can also purchase. In that case, please enter your shipping address information, etc. directly.
All of the information you enter is necessary to ensure that your order is shipped and paid for.
As explained in our personal information protection policy, the information you enter will not be used for any purpose other than this system.
5. Final confirmation of order details.
The final confirmation screen for your order will show the product price, options, shipping fee, and total amount. Please be sure to check the product name, quantity, and amount. After checking the details, click "Pay now"
Once you place your order, we will immediately send you an automatic confirmation email to the email address you provided.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, your order may not have been accepted for some reason or your email address may be incorrect. Please log in and check your registration details, or contact us using the inquiry form.
If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact us.
If you find any errors in the confirmation email, please contact us immediately using the inquiry form.
*Because the UES official online shop shares inventory with the physical stores, if multiple orders overlap, there may be cases where the item is out of stock even if the online shop shopping process has been completed successfully.
We will contact you if this occurs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
6. We will contact you again by email upon shipment.
Once shipment has been confirmed, we will send you an email with the delivery company, shipping invoice number, product information, and price.
b) Regarding the sales price of the product
If you select a currency other than Japanese Yen, the price without tax (+ currency exchange commission) will be displayed.
c) Normal packaging (ECO WRAPPING)
We are conscious of environmental issues and to minimize the generation of unnecessary waste on our customer side, we deliver products in simple packaging. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
d) GIFT WRAPPING
If you request gift wrapping, we will choose a suitable size based on the size of the item being delivered.
This drawstring-type gift wrapping bag is made from leftover fabric from UES. It was created with the hope that recipients would not just throw it away, but would cherish it and continue to use it. It is a reusable, warm-hearted gift wrapping bag that is typical of UES.
We have several types of envelopes for various occasions such as birthdays and Father's Day. A message card will be enclosed in the envelope. We will print the message on the card, so please enter your desired message when ordering.
*If you request gift wrapping, the price tag will be cut off before shipping.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on gift wrapped items.

e) Hemming
Pants (except shorts) can be hemmed free of charge at the same time as the order is placed. If you wish to have your pants hemmed, please enter the desired inseam length in the “Hemming” box when you place your order.
We also accept requests for hemming of UES pants by mail from overseas.
The customer is responsible for round-trip shipping costs. Also, a hemming fee will be charged for the third and subsequent hemming of the same item.
If you wish to have your pants hemmed, please contact us first before shipping, as we will inform you of the details by e-mail.
*Hemming is accepted in 1cm increments.
*If you purchased a non-wash item and washed it in a method other than the one described in “How to wash LAUNDRY denim”, there may be an error in the degree of shrinkage. Also, if the jeans are freshly washed, they may feel a little short due to wrinkles behind the knees. Please rest assured that they will become more comfortable as you wear them.
Inseam measurements are as follows.

The length of denim will change depending on the condition of the wrinkles, how the fabric is left or stretched, and the weather (humidity).
Please allow for some variation of approximately ±1cm.
*Customers who purchase denim pants from the UES official online shop can have the pants branded when they are hemmed.
*Please note that products that have been hemmed or branded cannot be returned or exchanged.
*The UES Official Online Shop does not offer hemming for pants from other brands.

Regarding product delivery, shipping fees, and delivery times
a) Delivery companies
We deliver the commercial goods by using EMS and DHL.
We would like to ensure all customers making order, we will be using EMS and DHL for shipping. According to each customers location and situation for shipping, we will choose the quickest alternative transportation system. Please enjoy your shopping.
b) Shipping cost
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country and total order value.

c) Delivery time
Delivery times vary depending on the delivery area, but it takes about 2 days to 2 weeks from shipping to delivery.
If you still have not received your order after 2 weeks, please contact us.
d) Shipping date
We will notify you by email once the product has been shipped.
We will accept orders but will not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, during the New Year holidays, or during summer holidays. Please note that your order will be shipped on the next business day.
If there is an extended or temporary suspension of shipping on days other than Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, we will notify you on the top page of the UES Official Online Shop.
Returns, exchanges and cancellations
a) Response period
We will support returns and exchanges within one week of receiving the product.
Regarding order cancellations, there may be cases where cancellations cannot be made in time due to cancellation requests or shipping timing.
In such cases, we will accept the return as a return for the customer's convenience. We appreciate your understanding.
b) Criteria for suitability
Items that meet the following conditions will not be eligible.
- If you have already used it
- If the item is damaged or soiled by the customer
- If you lose your product tags (prices)
- Items that have been altered, such as hemmed or branded
- Unwashed denim was purchased and washed by the customer
- Due to the nature of the product, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
- Gifts
We carry out quality checks at the time of shipment and take every precaution when delivering the product, but in the unlikely event that a return or exchange occurs due to the following circumstances, we will cover the shipping and handling fees.
- Items with tears, stains, or severe scratches
- If the product is different from what you ordered
- If the size of the delivered product is significantly different from the catalog dimensions
*UES products use old-fashioned looms and traditional dyes to bring out a more textured look.
Please understand that slight unevenness in the fabric, neps, weaving defects, and color unevenness are part of the product's character.
Of course, if you are not satisfied, we will help you.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but we will contact you, so please keep the product in your possession until then.
c) Return method
Once you have received contact from us, please return the item. You can use any shipping method.
After receiving the returned item, we will proceed with the refund process.
d) Exchange method
Once you receive our contact, please return the item and we will exchange it for the same item. If the size does not fit, you may exchange it for a different size.
We will send you the replacement item after we receive the returned item.
*If the item you wish to exchange is not in stock, we apologize, but we will process your request in the form of a refund.
e) Returns, exchanges and cancellations due to customer reasons
In either case, you will be responsible for all expenses.
*The customer is responsible for round trip shipping costs. If customs duties are incurred, they are also the responsibility of the customer.
The exchange applies to items of equal or more value.
We will charge a payment of difference when exchanging to the items of more value.
About refund, the refund will be the price of the item minus the PayPal fee.
In some cases, shipping charges for the first shipment will be deducted from the refund. Please understand this in advance.
*Shop points used will be refunded as points.
The following cases, we regard as the cancellation by the customer convenience.
・When the customer doesn't receive the sending items.
・The address is wrong
・Cancellation after the items are shipped
In the case of cancellation, due to an agreement with the delivery company, costs will be incurred at the time of shipment. Therefore, even if the product does not arrive at your door, you will be required to pay the shipping fee + handling fee. Thank you for your understanding.
About Repair
We accept repairs for denim UES products.
Repair costs will vary depending on the damage, such as replacement of parts or tears, so please contact us first using this inquiry form .
*The customer will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.
