Indigo heavy flannel fabric

This fabric is an original fabric woven by UES specifically for their products. You won't find it anywhere else. It's made for thick shirts to wear in cold weather. The back of the fabric is brushed, making it soft and warm against the skin.
Indigo yarn is dyed using a method called rope dyeing. A distinctive feature of this method is that the indigo dye does not penetrate to the center of the yarn, leaving it with a white core, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful faded indigo color.
It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including clothing and home decor.

Thick yarn is dyed and woven slowly on an old-fashioned loom. Weaving slowly prevents excessive tension on the yarn, making it possible to weave a fluffy, bulky fabric. Indigo yarn-dyed fabric is extremely valuable, as only a limited number of factories can produce it, as the machine is stained with indigo dye during the weaving stage. Because it is indigo, it is important to be fully aware of the drawbacks, such as the color fading of the fabric itself and the color bleeding into lighter colors.

Size: 114cm wide x 3 lengths available. If the 50cm length is out of stock, we will not be able to cut it to the desired length, even if we have 100cm length in stock.

*In the production of clothing, there is inevitably some leftover fabric after cutting and fabric for alterations. We sell leftover fabric in the hope that such fabric will not go to waste and can be used by those who need it.
