The single rib knit fabric uses strong uneven yarn to recreate the texture of Gara spinning. Gara spinning is an abbreviation of rattle spinning. Old spinning machines are called Gara spinning because they make a rattling noise. These spinning machines are no longer in operation, but the unevenness created by the imperfect machine created a unique fabric. This product expresses that texture with a thick 11.8 oz single rib knit. Because the fabric is thick, a special sewing machine is used to sew it, which produces flat four-needle seams.
