YARN-DYED Indigo Zip Hoodie

This season's Zip Hoodie is indigo yarn-dyed. It is knitted with the same indigo yarn used in heavy-ounce jeans. Rope-dyed yarn is not dyed all the way through to the core, resulting in beautiful color fading. The thick yarn is knitted on a low-gauge machine, resulting in an excellent texture. Enjoy a different texture and color than garment-dyed indigo.

This color unevenness occurs when indigo rope dyed yarn is used and the product is slowly finished using a loop-wheel knitting machine, which is now rare. No two fabrics have the same appearance, and in some cases the color difference is obvious, as in the photo, while in other cases it is not so noticeable. At UES, we value traditional machines and manufacturing methods in order to create products with a warmth, and we create our products with this color unevenness as one of their individual characteristics.
