We have created this product by making some modifications to vintage work pants. The outer fabric is sulfur-dyed duck fabric, which fades with washing, giving it a more vintage feel. In addition, the denim and wabash, which are new this season, have an attractive color fading that is unique to indigo.

The denim is made using the Ishikawadai spinning machine, the oldest still in existence in Japan, and the fabric is woven using yarn that has a texture similar to that of hand-spun yarn. We tried to incorporate this approach in our denim shorts, which is to pay particular attention to the yarn that is put into the power loom.

The front pockets are designed to make it easy to put your hands in from the top. The asymmetrical back pockets have a flap on only one side, and the reinforced fabric on the back and triple-needle stitching with thick thread give the jacket a work-like feel.
