The voluminous brim is a bit short, and the core material uses a special shape-retaining material.
It features a firm yet soft cork-like feel and a restorative power that returns to its original shape even when bent.
 
The back has eyelet holes for ventilation and a loop for hanging.
The loop is a detail for hanging a cap that has been removed on a hook, etc., when riding a motorcycle or similar vehicle, allowing it to dangle from the waist.
 
The fabric used is a domestic material woven on a power loom, renowned for its color fading. Power looms can weave fabric without excessive tension on the threads, allowing for the creation of plump, voluminous fabric. A dot pattern is printed on indigo x indigo plain weave fabric using a technique called discharge printing. The indigo's fading and the extra effort put into the printed pattern create a unique aging process.
