Painter Pants Wabash

The biggest feature of this product is the thick UES original Wabash fabric. Most painter pants are around 10z to 12oz, but UES painter pants are 14.9oz thick and made with the same thread as standard denim. The warp and weft are woven with all-indigo thread, and dot prints are applied with indigo discharge dyeing. You can enjoy the unique color fading of Wabash fabric.

The fabric is made using an old-fashioned power loom, which is said to weave air into it. It is woven at a speed about a quarter slower than modern looms, without tension on the thread. This allows the raw material, Zimbabwe cotton, to be manufactured without losing its characteristics (softness and suppleness). The edge of the fabric (red edge) is used for the back of the waistband and the hammer loop.
