This model reconstructs shoe laces made in the U.S.A. that were released by PRO KEDS in the 80s, sampled and reinterpreted. The original back then was made of 100% acrylic, but we replaced the acrylic with 100% cotton and reconstructed them in Japan.
The name is said to be taken from Pee-wee Herman, an American super comedian who was active in the 90s.


Vincent Shoelace was founded by a male and female duo from Kyoto.
The two found a very nice shoelace at an antique shop, and upon investigation, it turned out to be American-made from the 1950s.
Unfortunately, the shoelace was too short to be used, which led the two to choose to start making shoelaces they wished existed.


Shoelaces can change the impression of shoes. We prioritize quality and create shoelaces, which are like hairstyles for humans, consistently in Japan from materials to finishing. We repeatedly create samples of shoelaces we wish existed until we are satisfied, and only release those we truly love. If your favorite shoes get dirty after wearing them for a long time and you feel their shine has faded, try replacing them with Vincent Shoelaces.
We believe they will make your heart beat even faster than when you first encountered those shoes.


The box containing the product is an original glued box, handcrafted by artisans in downtown Tokyo, with linen embossed processing paper and foil stamping. The design is suitable as a gift as is.
